What is going on with the Soul Care 2025 streaming videos on Vimeo on Demand?

As of Sept. 21, 2026 there is no longer an ability to rent these videos on Vimeo On Demand, as Vimeo has discontinued this service. If you had rented these videos there and still have time on your rental period, the videos can be viewed until Nov. 20 (just sign in to vimeo like you usually do.) If your rental extends beyond Nov. 20, you can request a pro-rated refund from Vimeo by contacting their customer support. (We cannot give you a refund because they are the vendor. It’s similar to if you bought a book at a bookstore or Amazon, you would need to go to them for a refund.) If you got the videos through a promo code (which is a way I sold these videos through the Small Group packages) then you can let Jen know and she can give you a pro-rated refund for unused codes: jen.reimer@renewalinternational.org

What if I want to continue to watch the videos?

Then you will need to re-rent them on the Vimeo OTT platform, where they are being migrated to. The videos were all set on that site, but today (Sept. 25), the Vimeo OTT site seems to have crashed as it is inaccessible either for viewers or for content creators (us). Hopefully they will get it corrected soon!

What about the ecourse videos?

The ecourse videos are unaffected, as they are on the teachable platform.

What about other videos on Vimeo on Demand, like Overcoming Negative Emotions?

Most of these rentals should have already run out as their rental term was shorter. However, if you do have time left on your rental, then you should be able to access it until Nov. 20. By that time, all rental periods should expire. These videos will hopefully be added to Vimeo OTT over the next few months. And hopefully they will work! :)
